Blue-On-Blue Cheeseburger

Ingredients

• Blueberry Sauce
• 1 pt blueberries
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 tbl apple cider vinegar
• 2 tbl honey
• 1/2 tbl crushed red pepper
• Burgers
• 2 lbs Angus ground beef
• 4 cloves chopped garlic
• 1 lbs blue cheese
• 1/2 cup Worchester sauce
• 2 tbl Heinz 57 sauce
• 1 tbl fresh ground pepper
• 1 cooked and chopped jalapeno
• 1 red onion - 4 slices
• mayo
• 1 tomato
• 4 buns
• lettuce

Preparation

Step 1

Blueberry Sauce
In a small skillet, heat all the ingredents.
Once heated, add to food processor or blender and liquefy.

Burgers
In a mixing bowl, add the beef. garlic, pepper, sauces, 1/2 lbs blue cheese and the jalapeno.
Mix together and make 4 patties.
Place on grill for 5 to 10 minutes per side ..your choice. Rotate for grill marks.
Add the onion - grill till soft.
Put remaing blue cheese on burgers during last 3 to 5 minutes
Serve on buns with mayo, tomato & lettuce
