This S’mores Skillet Cookie is a HUGE favorite in our house…super easy to throw together and so fun to let everyone dig in with a spoon. It’s made extra gooey with the addition of Campfire’s
Just mix them right in to your dough…
And then placed them on top of the cookie when you have about 10 minutes left…
How to Make
Preheat oven to 350°
In bowl of stand mixer beat butter and sugar together for 2 minutes until light and fluffy
Add in eggs and vanilla and mix until evenly combined, scraping sides as needed.
Add in baking soda and salt, continue mixing until incorporated. Next mix in graham cracker crumbs followed by the flour.
Stir in your chopped milk chocolate.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Hi! I’m Shelly and I’m an addict. Of the buttercream sort. I started this site a few years ago as a way to justify my sugary, buttery obsession with desserts. It has worked out well for me so far, because as it turns out you guys all love sugary, buttery desserts too! It feels good to know you are not alone, doesn’t it?
They make large and almost flat marshmallows, they’re the size of half a gram cracker. I will be making this and using those puppies! No knives needed!
You combined two of my very favorite things: S’mores and cast iron skillets! I LOVE how you added the extra marshmallows in the center of the cookie! So, so good!
Must make for the 4th of July weekend! But no skillet…can you make these in a pie pan?
OMG – this looks so over the top! A must make. Shelly, I have been receiving your posts via email for a few years now and all of a sudden I’m not getting anything. When I go to sign up again, they say I’m already receiving them. Any idea why I’m not in the loop anymore? Thanks! Anne
I need to make S’mores more often!!
To the commenter who wanted to do this over a campfire- I often do skillet cookie in our cast iron dutch oven with very happy results,so if you have one of those, go for it! I have never tried just the skillet because I think it needs the top heat. Rest the dutch oven on approx 6-8 charcoal briquettes and put about 5-6 on top of the lid. Line your dutch oven with foil before adding the dough though. This makes for much happier removal later. Depending on wind, and outdoor temperature cooking times vary, but plan on for sure 30 minutes.
Sure! You might need to alter the bake time a little as the skillet conducts heat and most probably cooks the cookie a little quicker than a pan
