Ingredients
- 1 *1 package (32 ounces) baby carrots*
- 1/2 *1/2 cup packed light brown sugar*
- 1/2 *1/2 cup orange juice*
- 3 *3 tablespoons butter or margarine*
- 3/4 *3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon*
- 1/4 *1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg*
- 1/4 *1/4 cup cold water*
- 2 *2 tablespoons cornstarch*
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients except cornstarch and water in slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW 3 1/2 to 4 hous or until carrots are crisp-tender. Spoon carrots into serving bowl.
Remove juices to small saucepan. Heat to a boil. Mix water and cornstarch in small bowl until blended. Stir into saucepan. Boil 1 minute or until thickened, stirring constantly. Spoon over carrots.
