Gluten Free Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1/2 cup potato starch
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 tsp. guar gum
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350. In large bowl, cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla flavoring. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well to remove all lumps.

2. Spread butter into greased 9x13 pan. Bake 18-22 minutes, until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
