Ingredients
- Poulet aux Fromage
- from Betty Youson
- 8 oz pkg wide noodles
- 3 cups diced cooked chicken
- (used 3 breasts)
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 1 ½ - 2 cups cottage cheese
- ½ c. parmesan cheese
- Mushroom Sauce
- 1 c. chopped onion (used green)
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- ½ lb. sliced mushrooms
- 1 c. green (I used red) pepper chopped
- ¼ cup sliced pimento
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/3 cup milk
- ½ tsp. Basil
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare sauce: Saute onion, pepper, mushrooms in butter.
Blend in soup, milk, pimento, and basil.
Prepare noodles as per package directions. Mix in cottage cheese and parmesan.
In 9 x 13 greased pan, layer noodles, chicken, sauce, and cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min to 1 hour.
