Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 3/4 tsp. yeast
  • 3/8 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 c water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine 1 cup of flour, yeast, salt and sugar in a large bowl, and stir with a wooden spoon.

Add water and oil and stir until well combined. Dough will be sticky.

Add remaining 1/2 cup of flour and knead well with hands. Dough should have tack but it shouldn't stick to your fingers. If it is too sticky, more flour can be added about 1 tablespoon at a time.

Spray a bowl with nonstick spray and put kneaded dough ball into center. Cover, place in a warm spot, and let rise until doubled in size (can take upwards of an hour in some homes).

Roll out to desired thickness. Cover with desired toppings. Bake at 500* for 10 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Makes one 14 inch thin crust pizza or two 6 inch personal pizzas.
