Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups corn meal
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 2/3 cups milk
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup plus 2 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a square baking pan.
1. Stir corn meal, flow, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
2. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the milk eggs and butter.
3. Mix well, the mixture will be lumpy.
4. Pour into prepared pan and bake 25-20 minutes. Allow to stand 15 minutes before removing.
