Ingredients
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 Tablespoons powder sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour and milk in a heavy saucepan until smooth.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Chill thoroughly, about 1 hour.
In a mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until well blended.
Add flour mixture; beat until fluffy.
