Ingredients
- Dry ingredients:
- 2 cups strawberries crushed ( for glaze)
- 1 cup water
- 11/2 c sugar
- 6 TBLS corn starch
- 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation
Step 1
Crush 2c strawberries, add 1 c water. Over medium heat bring mixture to a boil & reduce heat & simmer for 3 min. Strain juice-pour back into pan. Mix dry ingredients together and slowly add to juice-use wire whisk to avoid lumping-whisk until smooth.
Return to medium heat- stirring constantly- cook another 3 min. or until mixture thickens.
Optional-can add red food coloring for appearance
To a prepared 9" pie crust add 1/4 of glaze mixture. Arrange strawberries in pie crust and pour rest of glaze over berries. Let cool & serve
