Richard's Mom's Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

  • 6 Bell peppers par boiled
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • Basil to taste
  • 1 bell pepper diced

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef until no longer pink.

Add chopped pepper and onion. Add tomato sauce and 1/2 cup tomato soup. Add salt, pepper and basil. Add rice, put mixture into peppers.

Put into casserole dish standing up. Add 1 1/2 cup hot water and 1/2 cup tomato soup. Pour over the peppers and cover with foil and bake at 325 for 30 minutes.
