- 3/4 C SUGAR
- 2 EGGS
- 1/2 t VANILLA
- 1 1/2 C FLOUR
- 2 t BAKING POWDER
- 1/2 t CINNAMON
- 1/4 t NUTMEG
- 1/4 t ALLSPICE
- 1/4 t SALT
- 1/3 C MILK
- 1/2 C CHOPPED WALNUTS
- 1/2 C SOFTENED BUTTER
- 2 T MAPLE SYRUP
- 1/2 t CINNAMON

Step 1
IN LARGE BOWL, CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. ADD EGGS, ONE AT A TIME,BEATING WELL AFTER EACH ONE.BEAT IN VANILLA. COMBINE FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, SPICES AND SALT. ADD TO CREAMED MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH MILK. FOLD IN WALNUTS.
TRANSFER TO GREASED 8X4 LOAF PAN. BAKE AT 350* FOR 40-45 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOOTHBACK INSERTED IN CENTER OF LOAF COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL 10 MINUTES SBEFORRE REMOVING FROM PAN TO WIRE RACK.
BEAT BUTTER INGREDIENTS UNTIL BLENDED, SERVE WITH BREAD.
