Ingredients
- 1/2 cup potato starch
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. xanthan gum
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- Pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 tsp. vinegar
- 3/4 cup milk
- FOR FRYING
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- FOR TOPPING
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Step 1
1. Preheat oil to 375. In medium bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Add egg and vinegar. Slowly add milk, mixing well to remove all lumps.
2. Pour batter into squeeze bottle. Squeeze up to 1/3 cup batter into hot oil to form criss-crossing circles and ovals.
3. Cook until lightly browned. Turn to brown the other side as well. Remove and drain on paper towels. While still warm, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
