PIZZA SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped, or 1 can (28-35 ounces) Italian peeled tomatoes, drained and chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients to taste. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 15-20 minutes. Let the sauce cool before spreading it to the Pizza Dough. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
