Ingredients
- 2 medium baking potatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese, divided
- 2 tablespoons reduced fat sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons butter
- 2 cups sliced red onion
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 tablesoons dry sherry
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 garlic clove, minced

Preparation
Step 1
1. Bake potatoes.
2. Cut each potato in half lengthwise; scoop out pulp leaving 1/4 inch thick shell.
3. Combine potato pulp, 1/4 cup cheese, sour cream, salt, and pepper. Spoon mixture evenyl into shells.
4. Melt butter in a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and sugar, sautee 8 minutes or until browned.
5. Stir in sherry, Worcestershire, thyme, and garlic; cooki 1 minute or unti liquid evaporates, scraping pan to loosen browned bits.
6. Top each potato half with about 2 tablespoons onion mixture and 1 tablespoon cheese.
7. Microwave on high 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.
