MAPLE SYRUP MUFFINS

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • ¼ cup of oil
  • 1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

1. Grease muffin pan.
2. Pour 1 tablespoon of maple syrup in each together with melted butter and a bit of chopped nuts.
3. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
4. Mix remaining ingredients and add to the flour mixture mixing with a fork.
5. Fill molds 2/3.
6. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes and turn upside down.
