  • 1 lb box Golden Brown Sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 l/2 - 5 cups flour
  • 1 cup milk scalded
  • l/2 cup butter
  • 2 pkgs yeast mix with l/4 cup of warm water if using long acting yeast.
  • l/2 cup sugar


Preparation time 180mins


Step 1

Bake 250 degrees for 35+ minutes

Mix sugar and butter into hot milk mixture and cool. Mix water and yeast mixture into milk mixture along with eggs. Add to well in flour mixture. Mix together and Knead 5- 10 minutes. Put dough into a greased bow and let rise in a warm place until doubled.

Roll dough out l/2" thick. Spread with l stick of butter and sprinkle cinamon and 1 ob box of brown suagar on dough mixture. Roll like a jelly roll. Cut into l l/2" slices. Place in greased 9" cak pans. Allow to rise ( double again )

Bake 350 degrees 35 - 40 minutes.
