Ingredients
- 2 (4 serving each) packages strawberry-flavored gelatin
- 1 (15 ounce) jar applesauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 (12 ounce) can lemon-lime soda (1 1/2 cups)
- 2 bananas, peeled and sliced 1/4-inch thick
Preparation
Step 1
In medium-sized saucepan, dissolve gelatin in applesauce over low heat, about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into 2-quart bowl or gelatin mold. Refrigerate and allow to set at least 3 hours.
When ready to serve, dip mold in hot water, just covering sides, 10 seconds and invert over serving plate that is larger than mold. Gently shake dessert loose from mold.
Notes:
This is great addition to any buffet, and you can really have fun garnishing it with different fresh fruit each time you make it.
