Maida's Barbequed Spare Ribs

Ingredients

  • 4 # spare ribs
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 c ketchup
  • 1/3 rice vinegar
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1/8 c Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 T dry mustard
  • 1/2 t chili powder
  • 1 t paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Cut ribs in serving pieces. Bring water to boil in large pot, add ribs and simmer 45-50 min. While ribs cool, combine sugar, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce/ mustard, paprika, and chili powder. Drain ribs and place in roasting pan. Pour sauce over ribs. Cover and bake 375* for 20 minutes, or til glazed. Serve over rice.
