Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups real whipping cream
- 1 lb dry fettuccini noodles
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup grated Canadian parmesan cheese
- Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Heat a medium sized non-stick skillet to medium-high. Add butter, mushrooms and garlic and saute until mushrooms are golden and softened. Add whipping cream, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer about five minutes or slightly thickened. Add parsley and parmesan cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Meanwhile cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water until tender. Drain well, and then toss with sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with parsley and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
