Ingredients
- 1 cup popping corn
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
Step 1
Pop corn and set aside. Melt margarine; add brown sugar, salt and corn syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let mixture boil for 5 mins. without stirring. Remove from heat; add vanilla and baking soda. Let it foam. Put popcorn into a buttered roaster. Pour syrup over it and stir. Bake at 250 degree F oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 mins. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Break apart. Store in a sealed container.
