Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

• 1 cup milk
• 1 1-ounce square semisweet chocolate
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 tablespoons sweetened whipped cream
• 2 teaspoons shaved milk chocolate

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a small saucepan, over low heat, warm milk until bubbles appear around the edges. Remove from heat. Chop chocolate and beat into milk with a wire whisk or hand beater. 2. When chocolate is melted, add sugar and vanilla. Pour into a cup or mug and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
