peek-a-berry-boos cookies

Ingredients

• cream:
• 1/2 c butter
• 1/2 c Crisco
• 1 c brown sugar
• 3/4 c white sugar
• add:
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 c water
• 1 tsp vanilla or almond flavoring
• blend in:
• 3 1/2 c flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 2 c quick oats

Preparation

Step 1

drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. pace 1 tsp jam or jelly on each cookie and press tightly into dough. then top with 1/2 tsp dough. bake at 40* for 10 min.

it may need more flour

we use crushed marachino cherries instead of jam
