Traditional Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 quart freshly drawn cold water
  • 15 tea bags or 1/3 cup loose tea
  • Additional quart of cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Bring 1 quart of water to a full boil. Immediately pour over tea bags or loose tea. Stir. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Stir again and strain into pitcher containing another quart of cold water. To serve, pour over ice.
