GOLDEN ROD SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Chop whites and save yolks. Melt butter and blend in flour, salt and pepper. Stir in milk gradually. Cook on medium heat and stir until thick. Stir I chopped egg whites. Remove from heat and stir in mayo. Sprinkle egg yolks over top. Serve over drained, cooked green beans.
