PIZZA CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 3 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 small box macaroni noodles
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook noodles as directed. Add margarine to drained noodles
and stir to melt. Brown beef in skillet with peppers and onion. Add
tomato sauce and water and simmer around 20 to 25 minutes, stirring
occasionally. Place noodles in oblong casserole dish. Combine
egg and milk and pour evenly over noodles. Spoon meat mixture over
noodles. Sprinkle dish with cheese and bake at 350° for about 30 to
35 minutes.
