Pulled Pork Sandwiches

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder, trimmed
  • 3 Tbsp + 1 cup BBQ sauce (I used Famous Dave’s Rich & Sassy)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • Buns



Step 1

Place pork into crock pot. Mix all ingredients except 1 cup BBQ sauce together and pour over pork. Cook on high 4 hours or 8-10 hours on low. Once done cooking, drain ¾ of the “juice”, and shred the pork. Add another ~1 cup BBQ sauce, mix, and heat through. Serve with buns.
