Meat Sushi Salad

Ingredients

  • Dressing:
  • 1/2 C canola oil
  • 1/4 C soy sauce
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 4 gloves garlic, crushed
  • 4 TB lemon juice
  • 3 lbs. skirt steak or london broil
  • 3 C sushi rice
  • 1 English cucmber
  • 2 avocados,
  • 3-4 scallions, chopped
  • 1 8 0z bag shredded carrots
  • 1 C oil
  • 1/3 C soy sauce
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1/4 C lemon juice
  • 1 tsp wasabi powder

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix canola oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and lemon juice. Pout the mixure over the meat and marinate for 6 hours or oven night.
2. Sear the meat for 5 minutes on a high flame. reduce flame to medium and cover and cook for another 7-10 minutes.
3. slice the meat and set aside.
4. Cook sushi rice acc to package directions.
5. Place the rice in the center of a large platter.
5. At the edge of the platter, place a row of cucumbers, then a rown of shredded carrots, hen a row of avocados,
6. Place the meat slices on top of the rice. sprinkle the chopped scallions on top of meat.
7. Pur the dressing over the meat.
