Artichoke Dip

Draining artichokes improves flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion, grated
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspon cayenne
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese grated
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 can artichokes hearts, drained (14 oz) Plain canned NOT marinated
  • Paprika
  • Pita bread cut into triangles or chips

Preparation

Step 1

Thoroughly blend first 5 ingredients, season to taste.
Rinse and drain artichokes and chop into small pieces.
Stir in mayonnaise.
Spoon into an ovenproof bowl (about 2 cups).
Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 minutes until dip is bubbling and top is beginning to brown. Serve hot with chips.
