Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- Decorating sugar crystals (red & green)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees, In large bowl, cream butter, and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add baking powder and flour 1 cup at a time. Do not chill dough. Roll out dough 1/4 inch thick and use Christmas cookie cutter for shapes. Place on the ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate tops of cookies if wanted then p1ace cookie sheet on top rack.
