Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen shreded hash browns, thawed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Vegetable spray

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion in 1/2 cup melted butter. In a large bowl mix hash browns, cheese, salt, soup, and sour cream. Stir until evenly mixed.
Spray a 9 by 11 or 9 by 13 casserole dish with vegetable spray. Spread evenly and pack down tightly. Brown corn flakes in 1/4 cup butter and spread on top of casserole. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
