Rajgira puri is made of rajgira flour which is gluten free, has high level of protein & fiber content.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rajgira flour
  • 2 boiled, peeled & mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Rock salt/sendha namak to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine all ingredients together in a bowl & knead into a semi-stiff dough
using enough water if required.

2. Divide the dough into equal portions & roll each portion into a circle.

3. Heat oil in a pan & deep-fry puris till they turn golden brown in color
from both sides.

4. Drain on absorbent paper.

5. Serve hot with curd.
