Italian Three-Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 c. frozen green beans, potatoes, onions and red peppers (from 16oz package)
  • 1 3/4 c. fat free vegetable broth
  • 1 t. Italian seasoning
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 can (16 oz) stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (15 oz pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) great northern beans, drained, rinsed
  • 2 T. pesto

Preparation

Step 1

Heat all ingredients except pesto to boiling in 3 qt. saucepan; reduce heat.

Cover and simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in pesto
