Ingredients

  • 1 c lard
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 c flour
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 2 t anise seeds crushed

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together lard and sugar. Add anise and mix well. Add eggs one at a time. Then add flour and baking powder and mix til combined. Roll out dough to desired thickness and cut with cookie cutters. Dip in cinnamon sugar and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes on 350 degrees.
