Kay's Ono Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped*
  • 1 c Portuguese sausage, diced
  • 16 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 can (4 oz) mushroom pieces, drained
  • 2 c catsup
  • 1/2 c chopped celery
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • a dash of chili powder

Preparation

Step 1

Brown all meats. Drain fat. Add rest of ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes. Makes enough sauce for 1 lb of pasta.

*You may also used 4 tbsp of pre-cooked bacon bits. If you do this, give it a few good pulses in the food processor to break up large chunks.
