Ingredients
- 1 package regular flavor Jimmy Dean Pork sausage
- 2 Tablespoons finely hopped onion
- 6 Tablespoons flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 cans (12 oz. each) evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Cook sausage and onion in skillet over medium heat until sausage is no longer pink and onion is translucent.
Stir in flour; mix well. Gradually stir in milk, water and salt; bring to a simmer and cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
Add pepper and pepper sauce as desired; cook 2 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
