Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chili beans
  • 2 large cans stewed tomatoes
  • Sugar, if needed
  • 3/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 lb. ground beef

Preparation

Step 1

Combine chili beans, tomatoes, chili powder, and sugar (the sugar is needed when the mixture tastes bitter, start out with about 1/2 tbsp, continue to add until it tastes sweeter to your liking). While the tomato mixture is simmering, brown the beef, drain, and add to the tomato mixture. Simmer until warm and ready to serve.
