Ingredients

  • Main Ingredients
  • 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or half and half
  • Topping Ingredients
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup of pecans, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp of Pepper Mash Seasoning, added last

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease 1 ½ quart casserole dish with non-stick spray. Mix all of the ingredients together except the cream and the topping ingredients. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Add cream and mix well. Pour into casserole dish. Mix toping ingredients (except Pepper Mash Seasoning) in a separate bowl . Spread evenly on top of sweet potato mixture. Sprinkle Pepper Mash Seasoning on top of entire casserole. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Serves 6-8.
