Ingredients
- 3 3-oz. (90-g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) finely chopped green onion
- (white and green parts)
- 1 tsp (5 mL) minced garlic
- A couple drops Tabasco (or similar hot sauce)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cut chicken breasts into 3/4"-thick(1. 6-cm-thick) bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients and marinate chicken in mixture at least 1hour (or overnight in the fridge).
2. Pre-soak short wooden skewers in warm water at least 20 minutes. Thread about three chicken pieces tightly together on skewers. Grill on hot barbecue until
cooked through and juices run clear.Do not overcook chicken. Makes about 24 skewers
