Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup dried raisins, raisins, dried cherries; etc

Preparation

Step 1

400 degree oven
combine egg, yogurt, oil and vanilla
add dry ingredients
stir in dried fruit
with floured hands, shape dough into an 8 inch flat round
place on a slightly greased cookie sheet or parchment lined
cut into 8 wedges
brush with egg wash (1 egg mixed with a tablespoon of water)
bake for 15 to 20 minutes
