Sherried Sweet Potato Whip

  • 2-1lb. cans sweet potatos or Yams--mashed
  • 2 Tbsp Dry Sherry
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 C. Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 C. Melted butter
  • 1/4 C. Chopped Black Walnuts (Optional)
  • Please omit the walnuts if you're making this for your cousin Jessica!


Servings 6


Step 1

Drain yams and whip with beater. Add sherry, salt, pepper, sugar, egg and butter, and continue beating until fluffy. Fold in nuts. Turn into buttered 2-Qt. casserole. Bake-350F oven, 30 min.
