Sherried Sweet Potato Whip
A Thanksgiving tradition for the Seperack family!
- 2-1lb. cans sweet potatos or Yams--mashed
- 2 Tbsp Dry Sherry
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 1/4 C. Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 C. Melted butter
- 1/4 C. Chopped Black Walnuts (Optional)
- Please omit the walnuts if you're making this for your cousin Jessica!
Drain yams and whip with beater. Add sherry, salt, pepper, sugar, egg and butter, and continue beating until fluffy. Fold in nuts. Turn into buttered 2-Qt. casserole. Bake-350F oven, 30 min.
