Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup white syrup
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 3 stiffly beaten egg whites

Preparation

Step 1

Boil sugar, syrup and water to soft crack stage; 262 degrees.
Pour hot syrup over the stiffly beaten egg whites in a slow stream, beating all the time.
Add flavoring and nuts; beat in marshmallows.
Beat until it losses its shine.
Put in a buttered 9x13 pan and cut into squares.
