Pecan Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 4 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first four ingredients and boil to soft ball stage, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add dates. Beat until thick. Cool. Add pecans and turn mixture onto a damp towel. Roll in towel. Place in refrigerator until cool, then cut. Refrigerate.
