Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sifted flour
- 2 teaspoons double acting baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups white corn meal
- 1/2 cup canned kernel corn
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation
Step 1
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into mixing bowl. Add corn meal, canned corn, onion, egg and milk. Stir well. Beat in oil. Drop by teaspoonful into hot fat at 350 degrees until browned.
