Ingredients

  • ½

    cup dry mustard

  • ½

    cup cold water

  • 2

    tbsp unseasoned rice vinegar

  • ¼

    tsp salt

  • 2

    tbsp. chopped scallions

Directions

In a small bowl whisk together mustard and water. Stir in rice vinegar and salt. Cover with plastic wrap. Sprinkle with scallions when ready to eat. Serving ides: Offer alongside soy sesame sauce for a dip with extract kick with shu mai, vegetable spring rolls, pot stickers, fried won-tons, shrimp puffs or any other dim sum. If you have leftover barbecued pork of Peking duck, make sandwiches with spicy mustard sauce and chopped scallions.
