Pocket Full of Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. pizza sauce
  • 2 6-inch pita rounds, halved
  • 1/3 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1/3 c. red or green pepper, sliced
  • 1/3 c. broccoli, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cheese and sauce. Spoon 1/4 cup cheese mixture inside each pita; add vegetables. Wrap each pita in aluminum foil and seal closed. Place in hot coals and cook for 2 minutes; turn over and cook another 2 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Let cool several minutes before serving.
