Ingredients
- 1 box penne pasta (or any shape you have on hand)
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Montreal Chicken Seasoning, optional
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 tub pesto sauce
- 1 c. parmesan cheese (I like the wedge I can grate with my microplane best)
Preparation
Step 1
Cook pasta al dente according to the package directions. (Or use my never fail directions - Add pasta to salted water that's at a rolling boil. Boil for 2 minutes; remove from the heat, cover and let sit for 7 minutes undisturbed. Drain. Perfect every time with any pasta.)
Cook chicken breasts in non-stick pan sprinkled with Montreal Chicken Seasoning, optional, and salt and pepper to taste. Once done, remove to cutting board and slice thinly.
Mix together pasta, chicken, pesto and parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
