Ingredients
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Large Head of Green Cabbage cut in to small pieces (not grated, just small)
- 1 Med. Onion Halved and Sliced Thin
- 1 Tbs. Italian Seasoning
- 1 Can of Diced Tomatoes with juice
- Salt and Pepper

Directions
In a large pot place cabbage and can of tomatoes, onions, seasonings and begin to cook over low heat. Add ground beef to the top of the pot and cover, cooking low until cabbage begins to make its own juices. Stir pot occasionally and keep covered until Cabbage is tender and beef is cooked well. My Mother used to serve this with Corn on the Cob and Cornbread… Very inexpensive and very good as well.
