Turkey, Creamy with Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs. butter
  • 12 oz. mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup sherry
  • 17 oz. Alfredo Sauce
  • 2 cups shredded turkey
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cups cooked spaghetti
  • 3 oz. Swiss cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms, increase the heat to high and stir to mix with the butter. Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and lightly browned and liquid has evaporated, stirring often.
Stir in sherry and simmer 3 to 3 minutes, or until nearly all the liquid has evaporated.
Stir in Alfredo sauce, turkey. and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
Stir in Spaghetti and simmer, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through. stirring frequently.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese.

Can also be served over hot rice, noodles, warm biscuits, or toasted English muffins.
