Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cubes butter (melted in microwave)
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups almond paste
- 2 cups sugar

Shred or grate the almond paste and set aside. Mix 2 1/2 cubes melted butter and sugar, mix well. I put the sugar and butter in a pan on the stove on low to medium heat until the butter is all the way melted, it is mixed together really well. I stir this around for 5 minutes, give or take a little maybe less. Then put almond paste and butter/sugar mixture in a mixing bowl, mix well. Then add eggs, baking powder and flour one cup at a time. Then pat it in 3 buttered round cake pans equally (pie tins are perfect). Take a Large spoon, dip it in milk, or put a little milk on top of the cakes (dough) and smooth it with the back of spoon in circular motion.
Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes until light brown, look at edges. Dont let it get too dark......
