Lime Sugar Cookie

Very quick and simple recipe.
Makes about 18 (2") cookies

Ingredients

• 1 pkg (8.5oz) Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix
• 1/4 cup butter, softened
• 2 limes
• 1 cup powdered sugar

Step 1

Combine cookie mix with 1/4 cup softened butter, 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, 1 tablespoon lime zest. Mix well and spoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes or until light golden brown.

Frosting
*Combine 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, and 1 tablespoon lime zest. Mix well. When cookies cool, spoon over top of cookies.

*I zested and juiced the 2 limes and had enough to do the cookies and frosting. Adjust the powdered sugar if you don't have enough lime juice and zest.
